WE HANDLE
CHANGE
On a daily basis, we carry out the monitoring of the executed measures in the domain of carbon regulation as a course of battling the climate change within the national and supranational legal framework. We assess the potential risks and opportunities for the organizations, taking into account the industry specific features.
Our environmentalists and legal professionals constantly monitor the climate negotiations at the level of international organizations and predict their results in terms of the further development of the regulatory mechanisms, regarding the carbon dioxide emissions and the carbon units’ trade. We are dealing with the cross-border carbon taxes for the importers to the EU, as well as with the impact of the “green taxonomy” on the business activities. We elaborate a number of programs with regard to the climate adaptation. In addition to that, we carry out the climate interactive courses for the company’s upper management engagement. For example, the Climate Action Simulation game helps to be immersed in the climate change battle on behalf of different economic sectors and make the inference, regarding the necessary sectorial contribution. The World Climate Simulation of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change makes it possible to dive in the climate negotiations’ specifics at the international level and make inferences, regarding the adequacy of the implemented governmental measures, aimed at battling the climate change and adapting to its consequences.
